A consummate banker with vast public sector experience He is the current Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Sigrun Africa Limited a boutique investment banking firm with headquarters in Madrid, Spain. Holds a BSc in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and an MBA degree from the University of Navarra, Barcelona.

  • He started his professional career with Nigerian American Merchant Bank (subsidiary of the Bank of Boston) in 1990 Subsequently, he joined FSB International Bank (currently known as Fidelity Bank) as a Regional Manager, Port Harcourt, Rivers State to cover the oil/ gas sector In 2003 he joined the Bureau of Public Enterprises ( as an Assistant Director to coordinate the reforms and privatisation process of the Nigeria Oil and Gas industry.
  • During his public sector service, he also served as a member of Technical Board of Port Harcourt Refining Company Plc, alternate member of the Board of National Hospital, Abuja and Nigerian Reinsurance Company He also served as a member of several reform committees in the oil and gas industry.
  • In 2005 he returned to the banking industry and rose to become Director, Wholesale Banking at United Bank for Africa ( In 2011 he was appointed Executive Director, Business Development for Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Plc) and rose to become the pioneer Managing Director of NAHCO FTZ Limited, free zone subsidiary of NAHCO.
  • He has attended various Executive Programmes at Wharton Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Oxford Princeton, Moody’s Analytics and World Bank He is a member of the Wharton Club of Africa and Institute of Directors, Nigeria
